This is how she takes care of her child, but this is not a good way to take care of a child

Anna loved her little daughter, Amina, very much. She always wanted the best for her child, but sometimes love alone was not enough. Taking care of a child also requires patience, understanding, and good habits.

Every morning, Anna would leave Amina alone for long periods while she focused on other tasks. When Amina cried, Anna often ignored her, believing that the child would eventually stop crying by herself. Instead of spending time playing, talking, or comforting her daughter, Anna thought that providing food and a place to sleep was all a child needed.

As the weeks passed, Amina became quieter and less active. She often sat alone and rarely smiled. When she wanted attention, she would cry for a long time because she did not know any other way to communicate her feelings. Anna did not realize that children need emotional care as much as they need physical care.

One afternoon, Anna visited a community center where parents shared their experiences about raising children. She listened carefully as experts explained the importance of responding to a child’s needs, talking to them, and creating a loving environment. Anna was surprised to learn that ignoring a child’s emotions could affect their development and confidence.

That evening, Anna decided to change. When Amina reached out for a hug, Anna picked her up and held her close. She spent time playing games, reading simple stories, and speaking gently to her daughter. Soon, Amina’s bright smile returned, and she became more cheerful and confident.

Anna learned an important lesson: caring for a child is not only about feeding and protecting them. Children also need love, attention, encouragement, and emotional support. A good parent listens, comforts, and helps a child feel safe and valued every day.
