Amina was a very curious and stubborn young monkey who always wanted to do things her own way. No matter how many times her mother, Anna, warned her about danger, Amina often ignored the advice and rushed into trouble.
One sunny morning, Anna took Amina to a nearby field to search for food. Before they left, Anna reminded her daughter to stay close and not wander away. Amina nodded, but deep inside, she wanted to explore the world on her own.
While Anna was busy gathering fruits, Amina noticed a colorful butterfly flying toward a distant area. Excited by the sight, she followed it without thinking. Soon, she was far away from her mother and completely lost. The sounds of unfamiliar animals made her nervous, but she was too proud to call for help.
After searching frantically, Anna finally found Amina hiding behind a bush. She was relieved that her daughter was safe, but she was also upset because Amina had disobeyed her instructions. Anna firmly scolded Amina and made her stay close for the rest of the day without any opportunities to play or explore.
At first, Amina felt angry and believed the punishment was unfair. However, as she watched other young monkeys playing nearby, she began to understand why Anna had been so strict. Her mother was not trying to be mean; she was trying to keep her safe from danger.
That evening, Amina apologized for her stubborn behavior and promised to listen more carefully in the future. Anna hugged her warmly and explained that rules existed to protect her, not to limit her happiness.
From that day on, Amina became more responsible. She still loved adventures, but she learned that listening to her mother’s guidance was the safest way to enjoy them.
